Scottish fintech start-up Aveni has appointed entrepreneur Elizabeth Gooch as its chief revenue officer, alongside hiring other senior personnel from IBM, McLaren and Dominos.
The speech analytics company made the appointment following its recent funding round.
Gooch is the founder and former chief executive of listed software firm EG Solutions, which was acquired by US customer analytics company Verint Systems in 2017. She will now be responsible for driving revenue growth at Aveni.
The company has also appointed Edward Asquith as its principal software engineer, and Sam Faulls as its senior software engineer from McLaren Applied, the technologies subsidiary of Formula One group McLaren.
Principal designer Chloe Poulter joins the company from IBM, while Matt Pattinson joins from a cloud and architecture role at Domino’s, to become lead software engineer at Aveni.
The new recruits will be responsible for driving the development of Aveni’s natural language processing platform and its integration with customer communication technologies.
