Scottish fintech firm AutoRek has appointed Kenny Bain as its new chief financial officer.
He joins the financial sector software company's senior management team and will play a key role in the scaling of its operations.
Formerly chief executive of customer feedback management platform Rant and Rave since 2016, Bain has experience of delivering growth in the UK technology sector. Rant and Rave was acquired by Upland in 2018 for $58m after a successful US market entry.
Prior to this, Bain held a variety of senior roles during his 14-year tenure at Graham Technology - including chief financial officer, chief operating officer and EMEA managing director - as the business expanded across the US, Europe and Asia and was subsequently acquired by KANA Software and ultimately Verint.

McHarg co-founded AutoRek in 1994 as an information and data management consultancy, later developing and coding its own software, which is still in use today.
Headquartered in Glasgow, with offices in Edinburgh, London and New York, the firm now has more than 80 employees.
