Scottish farmer is rushed to hospital after tractor overturns in freak accident

A farmer has been rushed to hospital after his tractor overturned on an icy road in Fife.

The Daily Record reports the tractor flipped whilst travelling on a backroad off the A921 close to Dalgety Bay.

The road - that leads to Otterstcon Loch - was said to be blocked for a number of hours following the incident.

The newspaper said a large vehicle had to be brought in to move the tractor.

The driver was taken to the Victoria Hospital, in Kirkcaldy for checks following the terrifying incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a crash involving a single vehicle, a tractor, on a minor road off the A921 near Dalgety Bay shortly before 12pm on Saturday.
