Huge queues have today hit one of Scotland's battleground polling stations.
Prestwick's community centre has been busy with voters after ballot boxes opened at 7am.
Long lines of people have faced waits of up to half-an-hour to gain access to cast their ballot in the crucial Ayr constituency.
Queues are still being reported tonight with just two hours to go until polls close.
However, anyone who is in line when the ballots close at 10pm will be assured of being allowed to cast their vote.
John Scott is looking to defend the seat for the Scottish Conservatives but faces challenges from the SNP's Siobhian Brown, Scottish Labour's Esther Clark, Scottish Liberal Democrat Jamie Ross and Chic Brodie of Scotia Future.

Votes will be counted throughout tomorrow with the Ayr constituency expected to declare in the late afternoon/early evening.
