Scottish DPD delivery driver veers off the road as worried passersby watch on

There are concerns for the wellbeing of a delivery driver after a DPD van veered off the road, tumbling downhill into some shrubbery today.

Shocking images shared by Fife Jammer Locations show a van caught in bushes near a housing estate on Castle Terrace in Kennoway, Fife.

There is currently speculation among locals over what may have caused the accident, with many claiming that 'the hand brake cable snapped' on the van.

An eyewitness who claimed that their son had witnessed the incident said: "My son saw it happening, looks like someone forgot to put on their handbrake, the driver was delivering a parcel at time, at least he missed parked cars."

One local claimed they received this message (Fife Jammer Locations)

Some nearby Fife locals say they were given a message from DPD to say that their parcel would now be delayed, but it is not known if this is linked to the accident.

Residents flooded social media with messages of concern for the driver's well-being, with one penning: "As long as the driver is fine that’s all that matters."
