Scottish Cup Final street-sellers punt 'openly homophobic' t-shirts on street

Street-sellers in Glasgow have been spotted trying to punt "openly homophobic" t-shirts ahead of the Scottish Cup Final today.

The tops, which appear to be aimed at fans, had the words 'Oh the Hibees are gay' printed across the front of them with font in the Tynecastle team's colours.

Twitter user Brendan McGeever posted a picture of the tasteless garments and branded them "shameless".

He wrote: "Openly homophobic t-shirts on sale at today’s Scottish Cup Final in Glasgow. Shameful. What century are we in?"

Other social media users were quick to condemn the tops.

Amanda commented on the post: "Are we still living in Victorian times here or what?"

While another person directed a tweet to the SFA asking for a response.

@KempJackson wrote: "@ScottishFA I would welcome your comments on this?? Why is this even allowed outside our national stadium??"

The t-shirts are not the official merchandise of Heart of Midlothian FC.
