Darvel's rearranged Scottish Cup replay will finally go ahead tonight.
It's attempt number four in the West of Scotland League outfit's battle against Highland League Brechin City with the first match ending in a 1-1 draw – now they go again in Ayrshire.
Weather has already got the better of the match three times – with Storm Barra proving a particular problem.
But they will go toe-to-toe for a spot in the last 32 at Recreation Park tonight with the winners set to square-off against cinch Championship shock troops Arbroath.
Ahead of the clash, Darvel boss Michael Kennedy told Ayrshire Live: “I am happy for the community, it gives them an opportunity to cheer on the team at home in the Scottish Cup.
“It’s going to be a special occasion, all the way along we were hopeful we’d get a home draw – it was unfortunate we didn’t get that.
"But through drawing with Brechin we have the opportunity to play at home, that’s the only positive that came from the first game.
“I’d rather just be through to be honest, but a draw was probably a fair reflection on the [first] game."
