A SCOTTISH city pub has announced its immediate closure, less than two years after opening its doors.
Dunfermline’s Dugg House sits on the city’s Guildhall Street, with a downstairs and upstairs bar.
A statement made on the business’s Facebook page said: “This post is a notice to let everyone know that the Dugg House is closed and will not open until under new management.
“The now old owner and also the wee man Dugg would like to thank you all for a couple years of wild experiences, to say the least.
“This has not been an easy decision, however it is the right decision. If anyone would like details on taking on the pub, or interested in it, then send your contact details to the page and we will forward them to the relevant people.”

The building was previously home to Monty’s Rock Bar, which moved down to the Kirkgate in place of Tappie Toories.
The Dugg's upstairs space was transformed to focus more on dance-music, whereas downstairs played live sport and acoustic performances.
Its popular Sunday night open mic event will now take place at the Creepy Wee Pub.
