Emergency services have taped off part of a street in Glasgow city centre this evening amid an incident.
Firefighters raced to Elmbank Street after reports of masonry falling from a building in the area at around 6.25pm.
Images taken by the Glasgow Times show a cordon has been put up around the outside of The Grffin pub.
Crews can be seen pointing up towards the top of the building.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) confirmed it had mobilised one pump, three appliances, and an aerial vehicle to the scene.
An eyewitness told the Glasgow Times: "A firefighter said a little bit of facing has come off the building.
"No one was hit, but they need to pull the rest off."
Firefighters remain in attendance as they deal with the incident.
It is understood that there are no reports of any injuries.
An SFRS spokesperson said: "We received a call at around 6.25pm on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, to a report of masonry falling from a building on Elmbank Street in Glasgow.
"Operations Control mobilised one pump, three appliances, and one aerial to the scene. Crews remain in attendance.
"There are no reported injuries."
