Bohemians have been drawn away in the Scottish Challenge Cup third round - but Waterford are at home.
The Gypsies will face Scottish League One side Airdrieonians at the 10,000-capacity Excelsior Stadium next month.
But Waterford - who are in this competition for the first time - will host Hearts Colts at the RSC.
The games are scheduled for September 7 / 8 but neither fixture involving the League of Ireland sides has been confirmed.
What was known as the Scottish IRN-BRU Challenge Cup last season has since been rebranded as the ‘Tunnocks Caramel Wafer Cup’.
Bohs reached the quarter-finals last season but pulled out in February following the late postponement of their game with East Fife.
Minutes before kick-off, Dalymount Park was deemed unplayable due to a frozen pitch and with the league season about to start, Bohs pulled the plug.
