A SCOTTISH castle has won an award for being the most romantic wedding venue in the UK.
Run by Oceanic events, the Nation’s Wedding Awards 2023 celebrates wedding professional’s that have gone above and beyond and made a real difference in the industry with their excellent services.
Sorn Castle in East Ayrshire picked up the prize, located just by the River Ayr and comprising a stunning medieval tower house and 8000 acres of private land. The castle is also protected as a category A listed building.
There were a number of other Scottish winners, including Murray Kilt & Formal Wear Hire in Kilwinning picking up the award for best groomswear supplier of the year and Manhattan Function Band in Edinburgh winning best wedding band.
A spokesperson for The first Nation’s Wedding Awards 2023, said: “It was another outstanding event.
“It was another opportunity for us to showcase those who have shown great commitment, professionalism, creativity and care for their clients. The winners truly deserve this recognition for their exceptional work, and we hope that their success will inspire others in the industry to strive for excellence.
