SCOTTISH motoring retail group Peter Vardy has bought two new VW campervans to give its 1000-strong team the chance to enjoy staycations.
Boss Peter Vardy said: “With a lack of certainty around holidays abroad this year, we thought we would try to help our colleagues and have purchased two campervans for our team to use for their staycations.
“It is our colleagues who make Peter Vardy Ltd – their performance in the face of adversity over the last year has been incredible, so we are always thinking of new ways to help them and their families.
“We have a booking app ready and I can’t wait to see these campervans in use. My kids and I spent a night in one of them and it was great fun.”
A partnership has also been forged with Core Fitness to provide all team members with a comprehensive wellbeing programme.
As well as the likes of online fitness classes, it covers areas such as recipe packs with a focus on nutrition and stress management techniques.
