A SCOTTISH beach has been named in a list of the most popular in the UK.
Luskentyre beach was ranked 24th in the list, and it’s easy to see why. Located in the isle of Harris, it looks like it’s been taken straight out the Caribbean with beautiful blue water and magnificent coastal view.
The study unveiled by Travel Expert ranks the top 25 UK beaches based on Instagram hashtag counts. Taking the crown is Cornwall's Kynance Cove, with an eye-catching 61,772 hashtags.
Coming in second is another Cornish beauty, Porthcurno Beach, which has 14,875 hashtags and a 49.58 hashtags-per-metre score over its 300-metre stretch.
Luskentyre beach, meanwhile, has 10,584 hashtags and a 4 hashtags-per-metre score due to its 2000 metre length.
