A graffiti artist dubbed the Scottish Banksy has left Leithers a rather special Christmas gift.
The Rebel Bear, whose identity remains unknown, has struck again on Leith Walk after previously leaving a mural depicting seven animals on a local building, alongside the words: "Keep the humans locked up."
This time, the artist is getting into the festive spirit with a Christmas-themed mural - you can see it for yourself at EH6 5EA.
Seemingly poking fun at authorities, the new mural shows Santa in his sleigh, which appears to have been clamped by one officer while another one is stands in front, indicating to stop.
Sharing a snap of the artwork on social, The Rebel Bear said: "Don’t worry, he will be on his way soon.
"Santa is too magical for restrictions.
"Happy Christmas x"
The artist has been busy in the capital, having recently completing a mural which features a doctor administering a vaccine injection into a coronavirus-shaped balloon. Unfortunately, one local wasn't too keen on it and gave him a bit of an earful.

Meanwhile, one of the artist's earlier works can be found at Eastern Breakwater, which depicts the iconic King Neptune, the Roman God of the sea, which is a fitting tribute for Granton's pier.
The mural, like much of the artist's work, appeared to make a statement, with plastic bags and bottles hanging from Neptune's trident ha and plastic bottles floating in the waves.
