Scott Van Pelt admits he was wrong about LaMelo Ball in such a classy message

ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt is one of the best members of the sports media because he’s often one of the most honest and open members of the sports media/entertainment world.

He’s had special moments on his show talking about his dad, also about his daughter on her birthday, Dan Patrick and his health, and many more topics that meant something to him.

On Tuesday night’s show, Van Pelt, who has not been a fan of LaVar Ball, admitted that he was wrong about LaMelo Ball and took some time to explain how he felt “small” for being so “anti-a teenager.”

This came after an NBA exec said Tuesday that LaMelo could be the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and after Van Pelt read an in-depth feature story on LaMelo which ran on ESPN.
