Scott Sinclair delivers perfect Celtic sign-off as he salutes terrace anthem in poignant farewell

Former Celtic star Scott Sinclair has said goodbye to Hoops in the perfect way with a video jam-packed with his finest moments in green and white.

And the new Preston winger added a personal touch with audio of his 'beautiful, wonderful' terrace chant used as the backing track.

The 31-year-old penned a two-and-a-half year deal at Deepdale on Wednesday and waxed lyrical about the Premiership champions at his introductory press conference.

But Sinclair has issued a further social media farewell to the team he won 10 trophies with during his wildly-successful spell in Glasgow with Celtic .

The former Manchester City man wrote: "Thank you Celtic, the staff and players we've created history and made amazing memories that I will never forget.

"From the invincible Treble, treble Treble and on a personal note being the top scorer in the time we did it and becoming Scotland's Player of the year.

"But most importantly thank you for the love and support you have shown me over the last three-and-a-half years I've been here.

"It has been inspirational, an honour and a pleasure to wear the shirt, you will be missed."

Sinclair netted 62 times in 167 appearances after Brendan Rodgers signed him from Aston Villa in August 2016.
