Scott Robertson says he's buzzing to bring the "winning mentality" learned at Celtic with him to Crewe Alexandra.
The 20-year-old has been tipped as one of the hottest prospects at Parkhead for years and made his debut for his boyhood club in the Europa League two seasons ago.
Since then, he's had productive periods at Gillingham and Doncaster down south.
He played his part under Ange Postecoglou in pre-season and was named on the bench for various European games.
But he headed back to England's League One late in the transfer window as he looks to get more first-team action under his belt.
Just three days after arriving, Robertson was thrown into the starting XI to face Shrewsbury in the EFL Trophy and he more than held his own.
He impressed boss David Artell in the 1-0 win and spoke to reporters after the match.
Having been a Celtic player since age eight, however, the club weren't far from his mind as he spoke about the "great upbringing" he has experienced coming through the ranks in Glasgow.
He said: "It's been great, a great upbringing (at Celtic). Somewhere you need to win.
"It was good to get on the pitch tonight and show the winning mentality that's been built into me from a young age."
