Scott Parker has revealed that Aleksandar Mitrovic is missing out against Manchester City due to an injury complaint.
The Fulham striker was expected to lead the line against the Premier League champions, but was a surprise omission from the matchday squad for the lunchtime kick-off.
But speaking to Sky Sports, the interim boss revealed that his absence was very much enforced.

Parker said: "Mitro has been struggling with a slight problem for the last couple of weeks. Coming back from international duty and he’s not ready to play today.
"We’re looking to get him some treatment and take it day by day with Mitro at the moment to see where we are come Tuesday, and longer term we’ll look at that and see how it goes."
It remains to be seen whether the Serbian international will be fit for Tuesday night's trip to face Watford, but Parker will certainly be hoping that his talisman will be able to play a big part between now and the end of the season.
