Scott Morrison: Hilarious shoe Photoshop fail gives Australian PM two left feet

The Australian Prime Minister has laughed off a Photoshop fail spotted in a portrait on his website.

A photo of Scott Morrison with his wife and children on the prime minister's website showed him wearing a suspect pair of trainers.

The leader of Australia appeared to have two left feet as his shoes had been photoshopped.

The picture has since gone viral on social media as people mocked Mr Morrison over the mishap which has been dubbed "shoegate."

In a light-hearted response on Twitter, Mr Morrison blamed the photoshopped image on staff in his department.

The original picture, showing him wearing a pair of scruffier trainers, had previously been seen in local media.

Mr Morrison tweeted a picture of his trainers on Wednesday.

He wrote: “Message to my department (PM&C): I didn’t ask for the shoeshine, but if you must Photoshop, please focus on the hair (lack thereof), not the feet!”

People on social media began editing their own images, adding fake shoes to pictures of Mr Morrison and his government colleagues.
