Scott McTominay reveals mood in Manchester United dressing room after Arsenal draw

Scott McTominay has spoken of his 'disappointment' following Manchester United's draw with Arsenal on Monday night.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw at Old Trafford as they failed to win for the second Premier League fixture in a row.

The game had started well for McTominay as he netted his first senior strike at home for the club with a thumping effort on half-time.

However, Arsenal equalised after the break when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang finished from close range with a delicate finish beyond David de Gea.

United had a great chance to win the game after when McTominay thumped a header over from close range, but were forced to settle for a point.

Speaking after the match the Scotland international reiterated his disappointment and insisted that United would have been good value for the win had they managed a second goal.

"It is definitely disappointment," McTominay told MUTV.

"With the different opportunities we had in the game and the way that we started.

"In the first 45 minutes we were right on the front foot, we were aggressive and did a lot of things right.

"I thought we were good value for three points tonight. It was little mistakes that we need to start cutting out which are starting to cost us games or cost us points in this case.

"Everyone in that dressing room knows that it is a tough one to take."
