Scotland defender Scott McKenna was personally welcomed to his new club Dinamo Zagreb by Croatian legend and club chairman Zvonimir Boban ahead of his surprise move to the Balkans.
And he's been tipped to be a huge success at the club by his former colleague at Las Palmas - ex-Dinamo Zagreb keeper Dinko Horkas.
The ex-Aberdeen and Nottingham Forest star left the relegated La Liga side after they went down because of a clause in his contract.
He's opted to sign for Dinamo and he was met at Zagreb Airport by ex-AC Milan Champions League winner Boban, who is now chairman of the club.
And former teammate Horkas has backed McKenna to be an instant success at the Maksimir.

He said: "I think Scott McKenna signing for Dinamo will be one of their biggest signings ever.
"He will be a fantastic reinforcement for the club.
"I became good friends with Scott last season. He's a great guy, with an exceptional character.
"As for his playing qualities, he is clearly an aggressive defender who is strong in the air. He is technically proficient and comfortable with the ball at his feet too. That will be good for Dinamo because they like to play the ball out.
"Scott had a clause that he was a free agent if we were relegated. He clearly received a great deal of interest and called me when Dinamo approached him.
"Dinamo is my club and so I obviously told him to sign!
"He was interested in Zagreb as a city because of his family circumstances and he was clearly pleased when I explained to him all the living conditions offered in the city. I told him he wouldn't find a better place to live.
£He had several options because he played in the top divisions in England and Spain and the fact he's chosen Dinamo is great for the club and shows their ambitions."
