Scott Brown stuns Celtic and Aberdeen fans as he unveils training look supporters thought they'd never see

A simple check of Wikipedia could tell you a number of facts about Scott Brown.

He's a midfielder. He's 35. He's a Celtic legend and won a shedload of trophies in over a decade at Parkhead.

Scroll down and you'll be able to read about his move to Aberdeen to work in a player-coach role alongside Stephen Glass.

One thing that isn't on there but is undoubtedly an unwritten rule with the legendary midfielder is that Scott Brown DOES. NOT. WEAR. LONG. SLEEVES.

The former Scotland international famously strolled around St Petersburg in the winter wearing just a t-shirt, and training snaps from Lennoxtown saw team-mates in snoods but the skipper proudly bare-armed.

It almost reached the point where you felt Brown would be cursed to a life of constant chilliness, lest he be snapped in a jumper and tarnish his brand.

But Aberdeen's return to pre-season training brought a sighting more rare than Big Foot or the Loch Ness Monster - yes, Brown was wearing long sleeves.

If seeing the Celtic legend with hair is vaguely unsettling and witnessing him in a Dons shirt is just plain weird, it was nothing on the sight of the veteran in long sleeves.

Thankfully Brown did switch back to his traditional attire before any rupture in the space-time continuum, conducting the session in his traditional t-shirt.

But Twitter user Ross Coutts noted: "My man went about in Russian winters in a T-shirt but one June day in Aberdeen and this is what we’ve done to him already."
