Scott Brown slaps down Rangers rival Scott Arfield as he gets revenge with epic troll

It was a day of high drama but Scott Brown once again finished on the winning side as the Celtic captain made it 10 trophy wins on the spin.

Rangers pushed the Hoops all the way but Christopher Jullien's winner was enough to seal another Hampden glory day to remember in the Betfred Cup Final.

The Celtic skipper was integral in holding the fort after Jeremie Frimpong's red card and kept his side on top during an action-packed clash at the national stadium.

And he delivered a telling message to Ibrox rival Scott Arfield by mimicking his salute celebration a year after the Canada international did the 'Broony' after Celtic's 1-0 defeat last season.

The pair were involved in a host of battles during the 90 minutes and Brown couldn't resist a post-match barb.

It was high drama for the 34-year-old at the final whistle as he frantically searched for his missing medal which was posted missing.

But it won't be long until  his latest honour is back in his possession as he made it 20 triumphs as club captain.

Brown and Arfield's rivalry will surely have more twists and turns but it's the former Scotland international who came out on top this time around.
