Scott Brown shares the Celtic social media love as skipper hails former Parkhead pals

Scott Brown was full of praise of his former Parkhead colleagues Kieran Tierney and Mikael Lustig after their Europa League performances on Thursday night.

Tierney was one of Arsenal 's stand-out players in their 4-0 win over Standard Liege as he brilliantly set up Gabriel Martinelli's opening goal.

Lustig , who joined Belgian side Gent, was in action for his new employers as they picked up a valuable point in Ukraine against FC Oleksandriya.

And the Parkhead skipper was quick to share the love with his pals on Instagram, praising the pair for their displays.

He posted a video of Tierney's assist on his Instagram story, saying: "Well done."

Tierney replied: "Thank you my man."

Brown said on Lustig's post: "Still running the show you are."

Brown was on top form himself as Celtic ran out 2-0 winners against Cluj with Neil Lennon 's side topping Group E in the process.

The skipper was brilliant in the middle of the park and ensured lightning didn't strike twice against Dan Petrescu's men.
