Scott Brown savours Celtic winner as he makes a beeline for Craig Bryson after pair's lively battle

Scott Brown savoured Celtic's win over Aberdeen and made sure he let Craig Bryson know all about it.

The pair enjoyed a midfield battle in the second half at Pittodrie and exchanged some words after Bryson fouled the Parkhead skipper, which sparked a lively between the two for the remainder of the game.

And so when Kristoffer Ajer netted a late winner for the visitors, Brown was quick to rub it in the face of his rival as he celebrated in front of the former Derby star.

It was pure Broony and had the hallmarks of his famous pose in front of ex-Rangers star El Hadji Diouf.

Bryson was subbed on in the 67th minute for Matty Kennedy as he made his long awaited return from injury.

Captain Brown is getting involved with the opposition and he was able to get the last laugh over Bryson after his side's dramatic victory over the Dons.

It was a crucial three points for Neil Lennon's men as the champions maintained their 10-point lead at the top of the Premiership.

Ash Taylor cancelled out Callum McGregor's opener before Ajer showed his attacking instincts as he calmly slotted the decisive strike over Joe Lewis to help Celtic to a 2-1 win.

The Hoops now turn their attention to the Europa League as they take on Copenhagen in the first leg of their last-32 clash and hope to add to their impressive nine match winning streak on Thursday night.
