Scott Brown rekindles Kieran Tierney Celtic bromance as pals reunite for 'wee catch-up'

They were the ultimate Celtic double act and now Scott Brown and Kieran Tierney have enjoyed a well deserved catch-up.

The Hoops skipper remains the ultimate Iron Man during Lennoxtown training sessions but the Arsenal left-back used to be right alongside him wearing the shorts and T-shirt combo come rain or shine.

But the pair were suitably dressed for the wintry weather as Brown shared a snap to his Instagram account as he saluted the £25m left-back.

He wrote: "Great wee catch up with this man.

"Always a pleasure. What a guy Kieran Tierney."

Tierney is on the comeback trail with the Gunners after suffering a shoulder injury in December and is doing all he can to put himself into contention for a Scotland recall.

Brown is nursing his own injury after hobbling off against Copenhagen with a calf complaint and is looking to win his fitness battle ahead of the return leg with the Danes on Thursday.

The pair were inseparable during their time together at Celtic and both were vital contributors to the side that sealed a historic treble Treble.

And the reunion proved popular among Hoops supporters.

MClare1985 wrote: "Cracking pic bhoys, what a legend."

Jonosheri added: "Bring him home!"

And ChrisThomson joked: "He's wanting back."
