Celtic legend Scott Brown thinks it's perhaps time for Greg Taylor to try something else, but concedes that supporters would love the left-back to stick around.
Taylor's current Parkhead deal expires in a matter of weeks.
No extension or renewed contract has been agreed upon as of yet, although manager Brendan Rodgers admitted the door wasn't yet closed before Saturday's Scottish Cup final.

Brown, who formerly captained Celtic and played with Taylor for two years at Parkhead, weighed in on his future and the impending return of Kieran Tierney: "He [Taylor] has played in all the big games,” he said live on BBC's cup final coverage.
"He is technically very, very good. What Brendan likes as well, he can be that inverted one as well. He goes in the middle of the park, so nice on the eye as well.
"Everybody always questions his defensive ability. They always talk about the Champions League. Kieran is coming back. Everybody knows that. He is an unbelievable player.
"Maybe it’s time for Greg to go and try something else. Celtic fans would still love to have him here about competing against Kieran as well."
Tierney marked his final Arsenal appearance with a goal on Sunday as they defeated Southampton 2-1.
The 27-year-old has played 144 times for the North London outfit since a then-record-breaking move in 2019.
He will strengthen Rodgers' ranks ahead of the new season, although it remains to be seen whether he will be competing with Taylor for a spot in the team.
