Scott Brown Celtic tributes deck out Parkhead as fans prepare to say farewell ahead of final home game

Celtic supporters have been leaving tributes to Scott Brown ahead of the club captain's final home game with the Hoops.

Brown will bring the curtain down on 14 trophy-laden years at Parkhead at the end of the current campaign, and his final home match in the iconic green and white jersey will be on Wednesday against St. Johnstone.

Under normal circumstances, regardless of the disastrous season endured by Celtic, Brown would've been given a rapturous hero's send-off, but with fans still unable to attend live games alternative measures have been taken.

The club is collecting items such as shirts, flags and scarves and draping them across the front rows of Celtic Park, as a way of marking the occasion and showing Brown how much he'll be missed.

Supporters were asked to start leaving their mementos at 10am on Saturday and it wasn't long before the ground staff had their work cut out.

Having won 10 Premiership titles, six Scottish Cups and six League Cups during his time with the club, Brown will go down as a genuine modern day Celtic legend, as he prepares for a fresh challenge as player/assistant manager of Aberdeen.
