Scott Arfield launches Rangers raffle as midfielder raises incredible total for the NHS

Rangers midfielder Scott Arfield has raised close to £4,000 for the NHS by offering a signed shirt to fans.

The Canadian gave fans the chance to win the shirt he wore for the stunning Europa League win over Braga at Ibrox.

The only condition for entry was donating between £2 and £10 to the Association of NHS charities.

Arfield only started the raffle on Wednesday but by Thursday night close to £4,000 had been pledged to the health service.

The Rangers star wrote on Twitter: "I’ve done this a few times before and the reaction and the amount of money raised was truly amazing.

"Please share and raise again for another great cause."

Fans will be able to donate and be in with a chance of winning the shirt until midnight on April 28.

The match against Braga it was worn in saw Rangers come from 2-0 down to take a 3-2 lead to Portugal.

Ianis Hagi scored twice and Joe Aribo hit a wonder goal, with Rangers winning 1-0 in Braga to seal a place in the last 16.
