Steven Gerrard has revealed key midfielder Scott Arfield is set to return in time for Rangers ' Europa League clash with Antwerp.
The first leg of the last 32 tie will take place on February 18 in Belgium and Arfield is expected to be part of the squad. The second leg will take place a week later at Ibrox.
The Canadian limped off after coming on as a substitute against Hibs on Boxing Day and has been absent ever since. He lasted only six minutes in the match before being assisted off the park by medical staff.
He has missed six fixtures and is likely to miss a further two against Kilmarnock and Hamilton before his return.
And Gerrard explained the star will return to training at the end of the week, hailing the club's medical staff for their role in his quick recovery.
He said: "Scott Arfield is due to start coming back into the group at the end of the week and really pleased it has gone to plan, the medical team have done a great job and he should hopefully be available for the European games."
