Scott Arfield coins hilarious Rangers nickname as he rolls back the years with cheeky dig

Scott Arfield has christened some of his Rangers teammates with a new nickname as he shared a snap of the "Blazin' squad" arriving to face Ross County.

The Premiership champions came from behind once again to dismiss County and move four clear at the top of the league.

They mirrored Celtic's earlier 4-2 win as they recovered from Joseph Hungbo's early strike to emerge comfortable winners.

Joe Aribo, Ryan Kent and Juninho Bacuna all struck for Steven Gerrard 's team and Alex Iacovitti's own goal put the icing on the cake before a County consolation.

The win left Arfield and his teammates in good spirits and the Canada midfielder took to Instagram on Monday to poke fun at himself and a few of his teammates.

He shared a pic of himself arriving at Ibrox, alongside Bacuna, John Lundstram, Glen Kamara, Fashion Sakala and Alfredo Morelos.

And he poked fun at their swagger as he quipped: "The Blazin' squad boys have aged."

The Blazin' Squad were a 2000s British Hip-hop group known for hits Crossroads and Here 4 One .

They disbanded in 2004 so it's likely some of the younger men in the frame will be bamboozled as Arfield shows his age.

Rangers aren't in action again until 21 November when they face Hibs in the League Cup semi-final.
