Scott Allan trains with Hibs and appears to have shaken off ankle injury

Hibs travel to Hamilton this weekend and it appears Scott Allan will be available following an ankle injury during their previous game

The midfielder was thought to be a doubt after the 1-1 draw away to Aberdeen prior to the international break.

Allan has started every league game this season for Hibs, who haven’t won in since beating St Mirren 1-0 at Easter Road on the opening day thanks to his late winner.

He was on the bench in their one triumph since then – the penalty shoot-out victory over Kilmarnock in the Betfred Cup quarter-final.

The reaction from the stands when Allan was substituted during the home draw with St Johnstone made it clear that the fans believe Hibs have their best chance of winning with Allan on the pitch.

In defence, Adam Jackson is expected to be available again after suffering a concussion against Celtic, although Paul Heckingbottom didn’t think any of his other absentees would be in line for a return this weekend.
