Hibs had a helping hand on choosing their striking new home kit - in the form of playmaker Scott Allan.
The midfielder, who is fighting to be fit for next season after a heart problem sidelined him for most of the previous campaign, could be running out in Joma's first effort which features a subtle outline of Edinburgh across the green torso.
And interim chief executive Greg McEwan revealed Allan was part of the committee that ensured the new strip would be a hit among the Easter Road faithful.
He insists Hibs fans have reacted overwhelmingly positive to the bold design.
"The fans really have got behind it," he told the Edinburgh Evening News. "I have already had a lot of positive messages from fans delighted with it.
"What they probably don’t know is that Scott was part of the group that worked on the designs.
"There were four of us and we wanted a member of the playing squad to be part of it.
"We felt it was important because they are the ones who will be wearing it in a performance environment so Scott was the one nominated.
"He wasn’t playing at the time so it was good to keep him involved and get his input.”
