And the playmaker proved it when he belted out the club's adopted Proclaimers anthem "Sunshine on Leith" in a video posted on his Instagram story.
The 27-year-old is set to rekindle his love affair with the Hibees when he returns for a third spell this month.
His crooning is certain to get the fans straight back on side after he left Easter Road in 2015 and 2018.
Allan has kept up a strict fitness regime in order to be in peak condition when he reports for pre-season training on June 20.
A standout for Alan Stubbs in his Championship before moving to Celtic , the midfielder will be hoping it is third time lucky to make his mark in green this season.
He is set to put pen to paper on a three-year deal.
