Scots zoo offering 'once-in-a-lifetime' chance to have 'Breakfast with the Bears'

A Scottish zoo is offering animal lovers a 'once-in-a-lifetime' experience to become a keeper to four rescued brown bears.

Five Sisters Zoo in West Calder is offering the chance to help clean and feed the bears in their enclosure.

If that wasn't enough then you will be invited to the Leaping Lemurs Restaurant for breakfast afterwards.

To be in with a chance of feeding the bears then you'll have to fork out £160 and be quick off the mark as there are only four places available.

Unfortunately the tickets for the June 22 event are sold out but you can still get your hands on briefs for June 29, EdinburghLive reports.

A post on the Five Sisters Zoo read: " We will be holding another 'breakfast with the bears' experience on Saturday 22nd June.

"This is a truly unforgettable, once in a life time experience for anyone over the age of 16.

"You are given the opportunity to spend the full morning with our 4 rescued bears, cleaning, feeding and providing them with enrichment.

"After the experience you will then head to our Leaping Lemurs Restaurant for some breakfast.

"You will also be given a gift bag to remind you of this wonderful experience and access to the zoo for the rest of the day.

"We have always received excellent feedback from this experience."

To book your place call the zoo on 01506 870000.
