Popstar Nicky McDonald has shared one of the strangest performance requests he has received from fans.
The 23-year-old posted on his Instagram stories about an email he was sent asking him to perform at a cats birthday party.
The hilarious clip shows the X Factor star sitting in his Wishaw home going through emails.
He then tells fans he can't believe what he has just read.
A newly-married Nicky adds: "You couldn't make this up. I've just received an email asking if I can sing at their cars birthday party.
"This isn't a wind up, this is a serious enquiry."
The Wishaw lad then shares a picture of the email so fans could see exactly what he was talking about.
Despite being tickled by the message he has had to turn down the gig as he doesn't like cats.
Nicky said: "I love dogs, but sorry to any cats lovers on here, I hate cats can't stand them.
"So no, I will not be singing at your cats party."
Nicky wed American Brandi in a stunning ceremony at Chatelherault Country Park in Hamilton in September 2019.
They first locked eyes in January 2017 when Brandi was a passenger on a cruise ship where Nicky was one of the performers.
