Scots written Jupiters Legacy is worldwide most watched show for five days in a row

Scots-written crime fighting extravaganza Jupiter's Legacy has attracted more viewers than any other show in the world over the last five days.

The Netflix show is the very first television adaptation of a comic by Mark Millar from Coatbridge and has been doing record numbers on the channel.

The show is also the first of Mark's to be aired since Netflix’s paid £25 million for his publishing house in 2017.

It tells the story of a warring super powered family who are embroiled in a global power struggle, leading to lots of fighting.

Mark had revealed earlier this month that he spent the day in Ayr celebrating the launch of the series, shunning the hotspots in Hollywood he could have gone to instead.

He's now revealed to his followers the latest information regarding the success of the show and had also revealed that a second series is being looked at.

He wrote: "News just in: Jupiter's Legacy is still the world's most watched show and has been every day this since it was released last week. #1 globally on any service! Thanks, folks!"

Mark also shared fan accounts from France, Brazil, the US and UK.

And he revealed even he was watching it more than once, adding: "I'm off work myself this week and spent this afternoon watching the last 2 episodes again :)"
