A Scots woman has gone viral after revealing the creepy moment she met Jimmy Savile.
Katy Berwick, from Livingston, shared the ‘weird’ interaction on Tiktok after bumping into the notorious paedophile in 2004.
The 28-year-old, who was around 11 at the time, explained how she had been camping in Glencoe on a family trip when Savile spotted her.
The vile TV star approached young Katy while she was alone waiting for her parents and made her feel 'very uncomfortable'.
She was standing outside of a shop playing with a little dog when when the ‘nuts old man’ in a tracksuit confronted her.
Katy remembered how he tried to joke with her about how the ‘vicious dog’ would ‘take her hand off’ and gave off ‘a really creepy vibe’.
Just then her parents emerged from the shop and were left starstruck by the celebrity, having no idea how sinister the situation was.
The Tiktok now has more than 204k views and raked in thousands of likes on the app.
Speaking to the Daily Record Katy said: "I can remember like a little local convenience store, I was standing outside playing with a little westie dog while my mum and dad were inside.
“He was just weird, proper, gave me the creeps, thought he was a bit nuts to be honest.
“I had no idea who he was.
“I literally just thought he was a weird old man.”
“I thought the tiktok would get a few thousand likes and views but not as much as it has.”
Katy added: “To this day whenever I bring it up now my parents just shrug it off like ‘aw you were fine’ as if I hadn’t just met the UK’s most notorious paedophile.”
Savile, who was an entertainer for the BBC, spent decades grooming, molesting and raping children.
It's feared Savile, who died in 2011, had abused up to 1,000 children, with some being as young as two years old.
