A Scots woman has been arrested and charged in connection with online extortion offences.
The 23-year-old, from Aberdeen, is expected to appear at the city's Sheriff Court at a later date.
It follows an investigation led by the North East Division's Cyber Enabled Crime Team of Police Scotland.
The team also looked into incidents reported within the Lothians and Borders area in June 2021.
They also investigated another incident in North Yorkshire, England from September this year.
