Scots woman branded 'tank' after being filmed 'pushing lorry up icy hill' amid weather chaos

A Scots woman has been branded a 'tank' after being spotted 'pushing a milk lorry up an icy slope'.

The unknown woman was videoed 'pushing' the massive Grahams milk HGV on a snow covered street in Cowdenbeath, Fife earlier today as Storm Darcy continues to rage.

In the 18-second clip, uploaded onto the popular Fife Jammers Facebook page, the huge eight-wheeled lorry can be seen moving forward as she pushes it from behind up the hill.

The video has gathered hundreds of likes (Fife Jammer Locations)

The social media page captioned the video 'Just your average Cowdenbeath woman pushing a lorry up a hill.'

It has since picked up hundreds of likes and comments from tickled locals.

Online, locals made light of the video with some suggesting her strength had been achieved from drinking plenty of milk.

One person wrote: "Somebody's had their weetabix this morning."

Another added: "She's been drinking her milk."

One man wrote: "She is a tank." followed by the strong arm emoji.

However, others questioned the safety of the stunt as the woman could have been in trouble if the lorry had started slipping.

One person wrote: "All good till the lorry starts to slide."

And another said: "If that slides back she’s f**ked."

Scotland has been blasted with snow and ice as Storm Darcy hammers the country.

Called the 'Beast from the East 2' forecasters are now warning of "tough" driving conditions amid an amber weather warning.

The Met Office blamed the 'bitterly cold' weather on strong easterly winds that have battered the country from Ukraine and the Black Sea.

A slew of weather warnings remain in place today until Friday for snow and ice across much of the country as conditions remain treacherous.

Scots have been urged to keep an eye on the weather before making any journeys.

Videos showing vehicles struggling through the weather have been a common sight but many have made the most of it with snowmen and sledging.
