Scots who witnessed a 10-year-old girl and a teenager being mowed down by a car are being urged to contact police.
We told how the schoolgirl and a 19-year-old woman were hit by a motor in Pollokshaws Road near to the Pollok Estate entrance in Glasgow on Wednesday.
Emergency crews raced to the scene just after 3pm.
Both victims were rushed to hospital while the type of car involved is unknown.
Police on Thursday morning confirmed that their injuries are non-life threatening but did not disclose if they had been discharged.
Officers probing the incident urge witnesses and those with dash-cam footage to come forward.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman told the Record said: "At around 3.05 pm on Wednesday, April 13 police received a report of two people having been struck by a car in Pollokshaws Road, near to the Pollok Estate entrance, Glasgow.
"A 10-year-old girl and 19-year-old woman were taken by ambulance to hospital for treatment to non-life threatening injuries.
"Enquires are ongoing.
"Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who has dash-cam footage is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident no 1882 of Wednesday, April 13, 2022."
