Scots wanted to star in TV show Hunted as bosses announce sixth series

Channel 4 have launched an appeal for Scots contestants to star in hit TV show, Hunted, as TV chiefs announce a sixth series.

The popular challenge-based show sees that people go on the run for around four weeks across the UK.

Normally the show focuses on celebrities but has decided to give people the opportunity to try it.

They are sent out with nothing except a rucksack of essential items, a debit card and a small amount of money.

'Hunters' are then brought in to try find the hidden contestants using CCTV and phone records whilst using other methods in order to try track them down.

A whopping £100,000 is up for grabs, which can then either be split among all the contestants if they complete the challenge or if only one person wins, they take home the full sum.

A statement on Channel 4's website reads: "HUNTED, Channel 4's hit series, is currently accepting applications for its SIXTH series.

"We're looking for ordinary people to go on the run and try to disappear in one of the most watched nations on Earth.

"If you had to disappear tomorrow, for whatever reason - with some of the world's best investigators looking for you, and some of the most cutting edge technology tracking you, could you just vanish?"
