Leonardo DiCaprio surprised fans by arriving in Glasgow for a UN Summit at Glasgow SEC for COP26.
Earlier this week, the Hollywood actor sent a message ahead of the conference but didn't mention that he would be attending in person.
The 46-year-old environmental activist has worked on a number of documentaries about animal poaching and the environment, and was appointed as a United Nations representative on climate change in 2014.
He wrote on Twitter: "The climate crisis is here. #COP26 must be a turning point to protect people and the planet.
"Leaders, the world is watching and urging you to rise to this moment. There’s no time to lose. #ActNow. http://un.org/climatechange @UN @antonioguterres @COP26."
And after pictures emerge of him online in Glasgow, Scottish Twitter has reacted.
One wrote: "If someone had told me Leo DiCaprio was in Glasgow for this climate thing I might have been a bit more interested."
Another added: "Joe Biden driving past the Greggs in Finnieston, Leo DiCaprio turning up in Maryhill. Glasgow is mental right now. I'm still waiting for Al Gore to descend from the heavens like Captain Planet, executing a perfect superhero landing right next to the Donald Dewer statue."
While one wrote: "President of the USA outside Greggs and Leonardo DiCaprio in Maryhill. What is this alternative reality Glasgow is living in at the moment??"

Another tweeted: "Can’t believe of all the places Leonardo DiCaprio can go to in Glasgow, he chooses Maryhill."
While one said: "Truly a wild time to be living in Glasgow - we’ve got Greta Thunberg chanting “shuve yer climate crisis up yer arse” in Govan and Leonardo DiCaprio wandering around Maryhill."
Another wrote: "I can't believe Leonardo DiCaprio is in Glasgow right now. Wonder if he's staying at Ibis like I did."
DiCaprio, who describes himself as an actor and environmentalist on Instagram, updated his biograph ahead of the event to include the hashtag COP26 and a link to the United Nations website page on climate change.

As well as winning Oscars for his roles, he uses his star power to showcase the causes he is passionate about like in 2016, he was an executive producer on The Ivory Game, which examined the ivory trade.
Oscar-winning director Fisher Stevens also filmed DiCaprio as he travelled around the world to see the effects of global warming for the 2016 feature Before The Flood.
