Scots TikTok star Paul Black has internet in stitches with 'wet paper towel' video

TikTok star Paul Black has left Scots in stitches after he posted a video online reminiscing about being at primary school.

We all remember when we weren't well as a child, a common method of pain relief when you were in school wasn't Calpol but non-other than a wet paper towel.

And Paul has recreated the scenario of a child visiting the school's reception to let them know.

He posted the video online and captioned it: "school receptionists when you tell them you feel sick."

The video opens with the 'receptionist blethering in the office' when they then notice the pupil: "Naw she's an actress I don't believe anything she says... Wit is it?!"

The child: "I don't feel well."

The receptionist: "Gon have a drink of water... not that one that's the staff fountain..."

The child: "I went for a drink of water and I still don't feel well. I've got a sore head"

Receptionist: "Right have you tried putting a wee wet paper towel on it?"

The receptionist goes on to throw a wet paper towel on the child's head but when that doesn't work, he gives the receptionist no choice but to call his mum.

And many couldn't stop laughing at the video and how relatable it was.

One said: "The accuracy of being given the f*****g wet paper towel."

Another wrote: "I broke my wrist at school, you could see the bone sticking up, and they put a wet paper towel on it."

One commented: "I can't breathe watching this."

While hundreds just commented with laughing face emojis.

Just last month, Paul divided the internet with his hilarious 'diluting juice or squash' video too.

In the vidoe, he asks an 'English friend' if they would like a drink.

But his friend is confused as he says 'diluting juice'.

In the video, Paul can be seen in the kitchen making himself a drink when he calls to a friend off camera.

He says: "Do you want some diluting juice?

And an English accent replies: "Some what?!"

Paul says: "Diluting juice?"

And still the English voice has no idea what he means, and even when he repeats himself, the 'voice' is still no further forward.

After losing his patience, Paul resides to 'praying to god' when a picture of Nicola Sturgeon appears on a saltire flag.

He says: "Dear God, please forgive me for what I am about to say, I'm really sorry and I'm so embarrassed that I am going to have to do this. Please forgive me!"

He adds: "Would you like.... would you like some squash?"
