Scots thug kicked cops & called them p**** & F***** c**** at tots birthday party

An anti-semitic homophobic sectarian disablist thug who kicked a cop at a three-year-old's birthday party has been jailed for nearly 18 months.

Ross Adams was arrested scaling a fence to get away from the party after police were called.

A court heard Adams, 34, should not have been at the tot's celebrations, in Denny, Stirlingshire, because of a court order banning him from approaching a woman who was also attending.

Prosecutor Katie Cunningham told Falkirk Sheriff Court: "Police were contacted because of the order, and when they arrived the accused was acting aggressively.

"He attempted to climb a fence to get out of the garden at the address, and had to be arrested and put in a police van.

"He was instantly abusive towards the police officers.

"He was repeatedly shouting and swearing and uttering abusive remarks, calling the police b******* and calling one 'a helmet'.

"He said, 'I'm going to lamp you'.

"He was also shouting homophobic remarks, calling one of the officers a 'f****** p***'.

"He was asked to sit down and calm down, and his reply to this was 'f*** you'."

Miss Cunningham said at this point, Adams lifted his right leg and kicked PC Andrew Davidson on the right thigh.

The depute fiscal said: "Thankfully there was no injury. The accused was conveyed to Falkirk police custody suite, but his abusive behaviour towards police continued."

He shouted at one officer, "I'll destroy you, you fat f***. You're no charging me, you're a f****** retard."

Miss Cunningham said: "He called officers 'F***** b*******' and 'f****** F***** c****'.

"He also called someone a Jew at one point then said 'take the f****** cuffs off, let's square go ya b**** p****'."

The incident occurred on July 31st (2021).

Adams, of Denny, admitted committing a statutory breach of the peace, aggravated by sectarian, homophobic and religious prejudice; police assault; and breach of a non-harassment order, all at the address and time that the party was ongoing.

Sheriff Derek Livingston commented: "He also managed to get a disability aggravation in there, calling someone a retard."

Adams' lawyer, Dick Sandeman, said: "He has a significant alcohol difficulty. He was in Mr Hyde mode, as opposed to Dr Jekyll."

Adams, who also admitted a series of other charges, including using threatening or abusive behaviour towards his partner or ex-partner on three previous occasions, was jailed on Thursday [Aug 19th] for total of 527 days.
