A teenage tearaway is facing a spell behind bars after admitting his guilt over a number of violent attacks.
Alan Junior Montgomery, 18, repeatedly assaulted staff at the secure unit where he was living.
He admitted seven assault charges and one of drug possession at a hearing at Paisley Sheriff Court.
He was caught with diamorphine, which is more commonly known as heroin, in Cumbernauld in January 2019.
And he went on to assault staff at Kibble Education and Care Centre, in Paisley, Renfrewshire, on a number of occasions over the following months.
On February 3, 2019, he set upon worker Michael Abumustafa, punching him on the face, spitting on his face and body, trying to slash him with sharpened pieces of plastic and hitting him on the stomach with the improvised weapons.
Three days later he assaulted employee Steven Calvert by repeatedly spitting on his face and body and trying to punch him.
The following week he attacked Mr Abumustafa again, struggling with him, biting him on the body and trying to punch him.

On Valentine's Day he attacked Mr Calvert again, throwing liquid onto him, repeatedly biting him on the body and pushing him.
And on April 14 he attacked Mr Calvert and two other employees, Ruby Whitebridge and John McBarron, by hitting them with an electrical cable.
Sheriff Tom McCartney deferred sentence until next month to await the outcome of a Glasgow Sheriff Court case.
