A North Lanarkshire teacher has been banned from the profession after making a string of disgusting sexual comments to fellow staff members and sending messages to a pupil on social media.
The council employee, who has not been named, added a pupil on Facebook before sending them a number of ‘inappropriate messages’ prior to March 2018.
The alarm was raised after the teacher sent a number of revolting text messages to a sick colleague who was undergoing treatment for a medical condition between June 2018 and March the next year.
In a series of text messages to the person, the teacher wrote: “We should have baldy sex together” and “you can **** me off any time”.
They also referred to another staff member as ‘baby’ or ‘my wee baby’ and said ‘I’d shag that’ when discussing them with a colleague.
The perv also admitted being inside a store cupboard with a female colleague and told her 'I want to kiss you'.
The General Teaching Council for Scotland was also told that the North Lanarkshire employee admitted sending a number of alarming messages to colleagues between March and August 2018.
The school where the incidents took place has not been named by the GTCS.
The pervert was removed from the teaching register and their actions were described as 'sexually motivated’.
The teacher accepted all allegations against them and agreed to sign a removal with consent order.
The sex pest will have to wait for two years until they can reapply to rejoin the profession but the move would have to be approved by an education panel.
