Scots take part in hilarious Facebook v Reality challenge - with their cats

A Scottish charity has provided some light-hearted relief during lockdown with a hilarious version of the 'Facebook vs reality' trend with their rescue cats.

Cats Protection Glasgow wanted to put a smile on pet lovers faces by showing how hard it is to capture the perfect shot of even the cutest animals at their rescue centre.

They tried their hand at the social media trend which sees people post a nice photo compared to a funny behind-the-scenes outtake.

The charity posted the results in a clip on Facebook and it proves even cats have a bad angle.

Their hilarious video show adorable photos of their cats compared to outtakes of the felines with with blinking eyes, blurry faces and looking dishevelled.

The charity said: "We thought we would start off the week with a bit of a fun post that we are calling ‘Facebook vs Reality’.

"Everyone who has a cat, or any pet for that matter, knows how hard it is to get the perfect picture of them.

"You have to take about 20 bad ones before you get the perfect shot and it is no different for us at the centre!

"We’ve put together a wee slideshow of some of the cat’s perfect photo’s (Facebook) vs the worst picture we took in order to get the perfect one (Reality)."

The charity are urging people to join in on the hilarious trend by posting photos of their pets.

They added: "We would love to see some of your Facebook vs Reality pictures or even just the Reality ones as those are obviously the funniest".
