Scots Squad and River City star Jordan Young 'can't stop being sick' ahead of skydive

Scots Squad and River City star Jordan Young couldn't stop 'being sick' ahead of his fundraising skydive with fellow actor Jame Mackenzie.

Jordan has gone to some lengths to overcome his fear of heights ahead of the 20,000 foot jump in Glenrothes, Fife, which they hope will raise £100,000 for the Beatson Cancer Centre in Glasgow.

The method actor even strapped a king sized sheet to his back and donned a pair of swimming goggles to get a feel for the gear he'd be wearing for the parachute jump.

In a video, he even climbed to the top of a child's' chute and had a dry run, jumping from the top.

He told fans in the hilarious video that has gone viral: "16 days to go until the big event of jumping, I've got £382 until I reach £5000.

"Obviously as an actor I rehearse situations to try and get into he zone and make it as real as possible."

Jordan said afterwards: "Its actually, when you do it, not that scary."

Jordan is Alex Murdoch in River City and ladies' man PC Jack McLaren in spoof comedy Scot Squad, while James is best known as the host of beloved children's game show Raven.

They will be part of a 20-person team, named Beatson’s Ballbusters, when they jump on September 5.
