Scots singer Michelle McManus shows off baby bump and announces she's expecting second child

Scots singer Michelle McManus showed off her baby bump to fans as she announced she is expecting her second child with husband Jeff Nimmo.

The Glasgow born singer, 41, who gave birth to her first child Harry during lockdown in January 2020, shared her news on social media with a picture of her holding her baby bump, beside Jeff and Harry.

She wrote: "Harry playing Peekaboo with Mummy, Daddy and bump."

"Baby Nimmo no 2 due early 2022."

Michelle, who won singing telly contest Pop Idol in 2004, married Jeff in 2017 in Mallaig, and can't wait for her new arrival.

Following the birth of her first son Harry she'd told fans: "Never could I have imagined this feeling of utter joy and overwhelming love for my little boy.

"My heart is literally bursting with happiness We love you so much Harry."

After her latest announcement, Michelle's Twitter feed was inundated with messages from well-wishers including Scot Squad star Karen Bartke and former Scottish Conservative leader Baroness Ruth Davidson.

Karen said: "How lovely! Congratulations!!!!

Ruth added: "Aww, brilliant Michelle. Dead chuffed for you all. X"

Another fan added: '"Amazing news!!! Many congrats to the three of you."
